Porntip “Bui” Nakhirunkanok, former Miss Universe, started a permanent housing project for Tsunami victims at Ban Prutiew, Tambol Bangmuang, and Ampur Tauapa in Pang Nga. A religious ceremony also took place presided by a Buddhist monk, to bless the first column of the housing project sponsored by Angels Wings.

Loves Children – Bui Porntip Nakhirunkanok Simon, former Miss Universe travels to visit the children in the Tsunami affected areas. Amongst her donations was a playground, which brought on smiles and laughter.

Porntip “Bui” Nakhirunkanok Simon became an angel to Thai children, as she visited Thailand with husband Herb Simon. On August 3, 2004 they traveled to Northern Thailand to donate a two-story school building with school supplies. This she funded from her personal account, totaling more than four million Baht. The new school replaces a dilapidated building in Ban Arkoo and Ampur Mae Fa luangin Chiang Rai.
